Radiant House + Adjacent Buildings

Liverpool

Radiant House, was once the home of The Liverpool Gas Company, a business that was at the forefront of modern ingenuity during the post-war era.

The impressive, art-deco building dominates the street and even back in it's Liverpool Gas Company days it was a community hub. With several showrooms and a lecture theatre it welcomed shoppers and school children to witness the latest in gas manufacturing. It also offered its many staff a great workplace, with roof gardens, tea-rooms and dining suites. The staff kitchen, fitted with all of the company's most cutting edge appliances, was accessible to the public.

Radiant House was at the centre of pioneering innovation in Liverpool, well ahead of its time in engineering, employee welfare and customer experience. That's a legacy that we strive to live up to
